Independent Relocation Service
There are two reasons to use our Independent Relocation Service.
First, we connect you with two experienced, qualified real estate broker agents in your new location to provide you capable assistance finding your next home. You choose between the two.
Second, you get money back ($1,000 to $1,800 on the purchase of a $400K home) from the referral fee when you buy a home with one of these broker agents.
We love it when we are given the opportunity to connect home Buyers with a REALTOR(R) outside our service area. That match is important and we do not take this privilege lightly. In many markets we know capable agents already that we have trained with in seminars or referred clients to in the past. If we don't know an agent already in your new location, we apply a rigorous selection process to find two capable broker agents for you to choose between.
If you are buying a home anywhere in the US or just across town, our Independent Relocation Service can save you money (over $1,000 on the purchase of a $400K home). Real estate commissions vary, yet typically the Buyers agent commission is 2.5 to 3%. After closing, the agent will send us a referral fee of 20% of the buyer commission. If you are a current or past client of Piedmont Preferred Realty, we pass on 75% of the referral fee to you, $1,500 to 1,800 for a $400K home. We can provide this service for anyone, no matter where you live or where you are moving in the US, even if you are not a current or past client. For Buyers who are not clients, we pass on 50% of the referral fee. This is cash back of $1,000 to 1,200 for a $400K home.
